Install Manager

Install Manager Pro is an application for the Android mobile platform.
This application greatly extends the functionality of Google's Apps To SD Card feature (A2SD) which was introduced with Android 2.2.

It's very powerful, as it provides the following features:
  • It allows users to take full control of their installed apps.
  • Choose the desired install location of an application, either when turning on the phone or right before installing the package.
  • It allows the user to move all non-copy-protected applications back and forth between the internal and external memory (SD card). This way you can save more space on your internal memory and keep on installing more apps than before.
  • Install Manager Pro gives users the choice to select a number of apps from the list and automatically move them in a batch-like process.
  • Get easy access to every app's details like space usage.
  • It also includes a simple file explorer to find installable application packages on the SD card.
Install Manager Pro, as it's very powerful, needs root access on the mobile phone in order to work.
To get root access on your phone, simply Google for "<device name> root instructions".
There is also a free, ad-supported version of Install Manager Pro available on the Market. It's called 'Install Manager Lite'.
It is a limited version, since it only features:
  • Single app moving (no batch moving)
  • Advertisements
  • It doesn't have the latest bugfixes since it's not updated regulary 
If you have ad blocking software installed on your phone (or integrated in the ROM you are using), please remove it and try again as Install Manager Lite has ad blocking detection mechanisms.
